ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Ourfirm.ai, Inc. Effective Date: October 23, 2025

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs access to and use of the Ourfirm.ai services, websites, and software (the “Services”). It applies to all users, including trial and pilot users, paid subscribers, administrators, and anyone accessing the Services under a customer account. Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access, removal of violating content, and referral to law enforcement where required.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to, attempt to, or enable others to:

2.1 Illegal or High-Risk Activities

  • Violate applicable law or court orders; infringe intellectual property; disclose trade secrets without authorization.
  • Facilitate fraud, money-laundering, harassment, doxxing, stalking, or the exploitation of minors.
  • Generate or transmit malware, ransomware, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

2.2 Safety and Abuse

  • Threaten or incite violence, self-harm, or property damage.
  • Engage in targeted harassment or content that is unlawful discrimination based on protected characteristics.
  • Generate or distribute pornographic content.

2.3 Deceptive Practices and Misrepresentation

  • Impersonate others; create deepfakes intended to deceive; fabricate evidence or official documents; engage in phishing or spam.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored where doing so violates professional, ethical, or legal obligations (including attorney advertising and court filing rules).

2.4 Interference with the Services

  • Bypass or disable security or usage controls (including rate limits).
  • Overload or disrupt the Services, networks, or infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service).
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization from Ourfirm.ai.

2.5 Sensitive and Regulated Data

  • Upload cardholder data subject to PCI-DSS, protected health information subject to HIPAA, or sensitive government-classified data, unless expressly permitted in a separate written agreement.
  • Upload another person’s personal data without a lawful basis and required notices/consents.

2.6 Unauthorized Data Collection

  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Services in a manner that violates this AUP, applicable law, robots directives, or third-party terms.
  • Do not use the Services to knowingly file, submit, or threaten to submit court documents that you have not reviewed for factual accuracy and legal sufficiency.
  • All citations produced via the Services must be independently verified by you; you remain responsible for accuracy, Shepardizing/KeyCiting, and compliance with court rules.
  • You may not imply that output from the Services is legal advice by Ourfirm.ai or that Ourfirm.ai is a law firm.

4. Security and Account Responsibilities

  • Keep credentials confidential; implement least-privilege access; promptly revoke access for separated personnel.
  • Notify security@ourfirm.ai without undue delay upon discovering suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, or other security incident.

5. Fair Use and Rate Limits

Use the Services within published or communicated rate limits. Excessive or abusive usage that materially degrades service for others may result in throttling or suspension. For programmatic access, you must follow any API documentation and limits we publish.

6. Reporting Violations

Report suspected AUP violations to abuse@ourfirm.ai or security@ourfirm.ai. We may investigate and will cooperate with lawful requests as described in our Law Enforcement & Legal Requests Policy.

7. Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for actual or suspected violations. Reinstatement is at our discretion. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
