Andrew Mancilla, Esq.
Founder & CEO, OurFirm.ai
Andrew Mancilla is a trial attorney based in New York and the founder and CEO of OurFirm.ai. For more than fifteen years he has litigated complex criminal, commercial, and civil matters in state and federal court. He built his practice on courtroom results, not case volume.
His criminal defense practice covers the full range of federal white-collar and nonviolent crime: mail, wire, healthcare, insurance, and securities fraud; money laundering; computer crimes; tax evasion; RICO; and narcotics offenses. His commercial and civil practice spans high-stakes business disputes, trade secret litigation, fiduciary duty claims, and civil rights matters. His practice also extends to entertainment law, representing clients across the music, film, television, media, and talent-management industries.
Andrew built OurFirm.ai around what those years in the courtroom taught him. Launched in 2025, the AI-powered litigation platform gives trial attorneys citation verification, federal judge behavioral profiling, and other tools designed by a litigator, for litigators. He built the platform inside an active trial practice, and he continues to build it the way he tries cases: from the facts, not the demo. That dual role, trial lawyer and builder, gives him a clear view of where litigation is headed and what the rise of AI means for the profession's ethical and practical obligations.
Andrew speaks regularly on AI in litigation, the ethical use of generative tools, judicial analytics, citation integrity (including the risk of AI hallucinations), and the evolving standard of competence for the modern litigator. He is a member of the New York State and City Bar Associations, the New York Criminal Bar Association; and the Federal Bar Council and its Inn of Court.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2010. He is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey, and California, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
